内容 Noosphere Blog for sentient beings

When we think of the noosphere we think of the mind of the earth. We ususally think it is only humans who have this mind. But even on this earth we are not alone. Who else on this earth possesses intelligence? Are there other creatures who possess as much if not more intelligence? If this is the case, are not these other creatures also active paricipants in the noosphere?

Among all other creatures it is the dolphins and the whales who perhaps have equal if not more intelligence than the humans. Are their thoughts and mental vibrations also not included in the noosphere?

Recently in New Zealand two whales were beached. Try as he might the conservationa and environmental officer tried to get the distressed whales back out to sea. But his efforts were of no use. Just as the conservation officer was considering that he might have to destroy the whales, a dolphin swam up to shore, sending out communication signals to the stranded whales. Within a short time, the whales responded to the dolphin´s communication and followed the boddhisattva dolphin back out to sea. The conservation officer was amazed at what he saw; the dolphin acheived what he could not. Though he considiered it unscientific, he later went swimming to find the freindly dolphin and thank him.

Whales and dolhins both have brains considerably larger and more complex than humans. They are sea mammals who have been with us for over a million years. They communicate through a complex aystem of sounds, and possess a profound telapthic sensitivity and emotional stablility far in excess of the human species. Is it possible that whales - and dolphins - might be our elders in knowledge, wisdom and compassion? If this is the case, then why do we go on killing them for profit?

It is a fundamental principle of the noosphere, the one mind of earth,to establish full enlightened communication among all the species. Instead of hunting our whale elders for profit, in noosphere it will be better to seek out communication with them and learn from their vast oceanic wisdom.
